🌎 3-Day & 2-Night Itinerary

✅ Day 1: Nanjing Road Pedestrian Street → Oriental Pearl TV Tower → Lujiazui → Shanghai IFC Mall → The Bund✅ Day 2: Wukang Road → Anfu Road → Jing’an Temple → Middle Wulumuqi Road → Middle Huaihai Road✅ Day 3: Tianzifang → Sinan Road → Sinan Mansions → Yu Garden → City God Temple

🌟 Accommodation Guide

Near Nanjing Road/People’s Square: Located in the city center, with Metro Lines 1, 2, and 8 running through the area—convenient for getting anywhere. Attractions like The Bund and Yu Garden are within walking distance, but prices are relatively high.

Near Tianzifang/Yu Garden: The surrounding area offers easy transportation and a wide range of dining options. It’s a zone that blends tradition with modernity.

Near Middle Huaihai Road/Jing’an Temple: Boasts a great environment; staying here lets you take in Shanghai’s night views in full. It’s recommended to book a room on a slightly higher floor for a better view.

Near The Bund/Lujiazui: Recommended for those who want to experience Shanghai’s old foreign-style houses—most accommodations here are historic villas, guaranteeing a great experience. They are mostly located in the former French Concession, with excellent locations and convenient transportation. Note that some facilities may be outdated, so choose carefully.

Near Wujiaochang: One of Shanghai’s traditional commercial districts, home to several well-known universities nationwide, such as Fudan University and Tongji University.

Pudong New Area: Convenient for travelers arriving at Pudong International Airport. It’s also close to Shanghai Disneyland, so it’s recommended for those planning to visit the theme park.

Near Yuyuan Road: A top pick for literary and artistic travelers. It’s an area that combines Shanghai’s tradition and modernity, with many creative shops worth checking out—perfect for taking great photos.

🍱 Must-Try Shanghai Eats

✅ Libai Crab Bund River View Restaurant: You must try the signature Crab Roe Noodles and Crab Roe Rice! Loaded with crab roe, crab meat, and crab legs, every bite is packed with the rich, fresh flavor of crab.✅ Bund Family Feast Shanghai Cuisine: The Sweet Osmanthus Braised Pork looks amazing and tastes even better. The Hua Diao Wine-Poached Prawns are super cost-effective at only 1.1 yuan each! The Sliced Boiled Chicken is tender and juicy.✅ MaoLaguo Sour Shrimp Beef: Sour shrimp sauce mixed with beef and pork intestines—it’s a bit of a strong flavor, so it might not be for everyone, but it’s truly delicious and pairs perfectly with rice.✅ Dingxing Road Egg Pancake Stall: Tucked away in an alley—just look for the queue! You can smell the aroma of green onions mixed with eggs from far away, and this stall has been around for years. You can add both crispy fritters and fried dough sticks, and the sweet bean sauce is the secret to its great taste.✅ Lailai Xiaolong / Qiao’ai Xiaolong: A steamed dumpling spot where both locals and foreigners line up. They specialize in crab roe xiaolongbao—the pure crab roe ones are a must-try! The crab roe pork and crab paste varieties are also good. The dumplings have thin skins, generous fillings, and rich, savory broth.
